Solar Power Assessment and Style in Lebanon County Pennsylvania

Envision standing on your roof on a crisp Lebanon County Pennsylvania morning, sunshine cascading through the clouds, and questioning how to harness that golden energy effectively. One of the trickiest elements of solar installation is developing a system that works perfectly with your special home. Misjudging roofing system angles, shading from trees, and even regional weather patterns can turn what ought to be a clean energy win into wasted potential.

Lumina Solar PA understands how the particular landscape and environment of Lebanon County Pennsylvania impact solar efficiency. This is not practically slapping panels on a roofing system; it has to do with crafting a bespoke option that consider:

  1. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lebanon County Pennsylvania by Timothy Cross: Alex was awesome walking me through everything, the loan, incentives, and installation. Easy to get in touch with and answered any questions on concerns I had.
  2. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lebanon County Pennsylvania by Matthew Cawthorne: I was really excited with the idea of getting a rooftop PV system, and Lumina had really good reviews. Their price was nearly identical to another very highly rated company in my area and I liked the look of the REC panels so we went with Lumina. During the initial sizing I proposed a symmetric configuration that was pleasing to the eye and was told 'we can discuss the exact configuration during the engineering phase'. Well, I was never contacted until all of the approvals were complete and at that point it was too late to get the configuration that I wanted. The Lumina configuration was unsymmetric and had 1 fewer panel on the highly productive south facing roof. It was not the end of the world, but I take pride in the aesthetics of my house. In the end I was able to get them to make it symmetric, but with the one less panel in the good orientation. The biggest problem, however is that the panels on the front of the house are in a nearly ideal orientation, facing almost south, and with a roof pitch that is good for this latitude. The 400+ watt panels are oriented well enough that they should be able to generate close to 400 watts during the middle of the day (cloud cover permitting). Lumina specified and installed 300 watt inverters so those panels never produce more than 300 watts. Instead of a sine wave for production I get a curve that is clipped flat on top. 300 watt inverters are ok for the back of the house where the sun angles are not as ideal and the panels cannot produce as much power, but not for the front. So why am I giving them 4 stars? Well, their Operations department that scheduled and performed the installation did a really good job and were a delight to work with. The workmanship is really good and everything has been functioning for the first 16 months of operation. There were no surprises in the pricing.
  3. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lebanon County Pennsylvania by Rich Grillo: I had met with several solar companies to discuss options for my newly-built home. Courtney did a great job and stood out from the rest by thoroughly explaining different options and impacts. It was a smooth process from start to finish. Happy with Lumina.

  6. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lebanon County Pennsylvania by Rodney Nesmith: We investigated multiple solar providers. Lumina seemed like the best choice: knowledgeable staff, good value, designs that fit our needs. Now that our installation is done, we are extremely happy with it. The design was perfect for our home. And the construction was very well done. The Lumina staff were highly skilled, conscientious and courteous. They were done in two days, and the workmanship is excellent. Now, we enjoy using the Enlighten app to see how much electricity we are making. Not only does the app tell us how much electricity we are producing, we've found it useful in understanding and managing our electrical demand! We have several friends that are interested in solar energy, and we are encouraging them to consider Lumina. We are extremely happy with their work, and we think they would be too! December 2023 Update: We are now in our 7th consecutive month without having to buy a single KW of electricity from the grid! Also, two of our friends have used Lumina for their installations, and they've had the same experience. Excellent/knowledgeable sales staff, high quality installations, LOVE the Enlighten app for monitoring power production/use, and happy with the output from their systems!
  7. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lebanon County Pennsylvania by Richard Frey: From the very beginning until now after our system was installed our experience with Lumina Solar and Philip Jordan has been awesome. In the beginning we looked at a few different Solar companies. My wife and I thought that the presentation that Philip gave was the most informative and the best. Philip was only a call or text away for all the many (and by many I mean alot) of questions that we had and still have. Our system would have been installed about 2 months earlier if not for having to file for a varance for the township. Philip assisted us with all the paperwork and then even offered to help us with addressing about 50 envelopes to send out for the hearing. Once the permits were issued the process went quickly and smoothly. The panels (41 between the house and detached garage) were installed in only 2 days. My wife told me that Cameron and his crew were very professional. Cameron took his time and made sure to explain everything to her. After the install the inspection was only 2 days later and I signed the last form for PPL that Friday. The following Tuesday afternoon our system went active. It's been on for a week now and producing more then we are using so we will have some credit in the winter. Again the whole process with Lumina and Philip was a great experience. Ps. I just asked Philip another question today and as usual he was quick to respond.
  8. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lebanon County Pennsylvania by Andy Gaynor: I had a fairly complex 16.2kw ground mount system recently installed. Everyone at Lumina was highly professional, from the initial sales presentation with Philip, to the project manager Cory working with us on details, the survey team, the trenching team, all the installers Josh I believe was our lead amd was phenomenal and very knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions. I also appreciated the work ethic, each team worked diligently to make sure each phase of the project was completed as quickly as possible. Once our installation was completed Rob came out to meet with the permit inspector for my local township and ensured that everything went smoothly. Having a dedicated team who I felt comfortable with this type of investment was paramount in my decision to choose what solar company I went with, and Lumina did not disappoint! I'm confident that I will enjoy my new energy independence, and if there are any hiccups Lumina has my back!
  9. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lebanon County Pennsylvania by noel smyth: Lumina Solar did a commercial installation at my Church in Havertown, PA. I was impressed with the entire Lumina team from the sales process, follow-up to my questions, competitive pricing and professional installation. The installation crew was very professional and a pleasure to work with. The overall Lumina team was super flexible on timing as we had a number of things going on at the Church that moved our schedule. I highly recommend Lumina Solar for any commercial or residential project.
  10. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lebanon County Pennsylvania by Tamara O'Brien: Great experience! So excited to have solar power. Philip and his team handled everything, including Philly's red tape. Was an easy process, all questions answered quickly and clearly. Highly recommend!
  • Sun course variations throughout the year
